Online counselling allows you to discuss problems and any difficult feelings in a safe, confidential environment.  People seek online counselling for many reasons, from looking to change a certain aspect of their life, needing support, or because they want to explore and understand their thoughts, feelings or behaviours more closely.

We currently offer counselling via Zoom.

Face to face counselling is offered at our sister company, Lewis Psychology CIC

What are the benefits of online counselling?

Some clients are geographically remote or have mobility issues which hinder them attending in person, for other clients the time required out of their schedule to attend in person can be too great (i.e business owners, parents and carers). Clients who suffer from agoraphobia, chronic anxiety or depression may find leaving the house problematic, therefore online sessions can provide a way to engage in counselling. Other benefits of online counselling include:

  • improved communication and interpersonal skills
  • greater self-acceptance and self-esteem
  • ability to change unhelpful behaviours
  • better understanding and management of emotions
  • relief from depression, anxiety or other mental health conditions
  • ability to make sense of difficult emotions and understand yourself
  • resolve relationship issues, or find ways to manage them
  • recognise unhelpful patterns or behaviours and find ways to change them
  • increased confidence and decision-making skills
  • Increased ability to effectively manage stress
  • Improved problem-solving and conflict resolution skill
